CLIENT TESTIMONIALS Staplegun Design, Inc.

As a small business we struggled with our growth potential, burdened by the tedious aspects of accounting from payroll to our general bookkeeping responsibilities. When we partnered with H&H Bookkeeping we started slow, but quickly learned their capabilities stretched far past basic accounting duties. They are now an integrated part of our business, handling not only payroll and bookkeeping, but also tax planning, operations data, many of our employees’ personal tax preparation needs, etc. Our business has never been in a better position.

Metaltech Inc.

As small business owners, my partners and I at Metaltech Inc. would like to express our thanks and our appreciation for a “Job Well Done” by H&H Bookkeeping in actively and aggressively helping us since 2006 with all of our tax planning and monthly financial accounting needs. We previously used a nationally franchised accounting firm that was more interested in how many clients they could acquire. The focus was not on the clients’ business planning, or the immediate need to get answers to crucial questions that arise unexpectedly in operating a small business. Since switching to H&H Bookkeeping, I have the confidence in knowing whatever financial situation arises, help is always just a telephone call away.

180 Medical, Inc.

After going through two accountants in a three-year period, we were desperate for someone to handle our bookkeeping as well as our taxes. After asking all of our friends for a referral, we ended up calling several places out of the phone book. We came across H&H bookkeeping. We called three references and decided to try them out based on three glowing testimonies. We could tell from our first meeting with Candy that this company was special. The response time and level of customer service were outstanding. We have used them since 2005 and could not be happier.

Sincerely,

Brian R. Warner,COO

What is the difference between a CPA and a non-CPA?

Business owners are frequently confused as to the meaning of the certified public accountant (CPA) designation. A CPA has a required level of education and experience and has taken tests to prove competency. A CPA is also required to participate in continuing education programs in order to stay current. While certain situations demand a CPA's involvement -- such as an audit or loan application -- other tasks such as bookkeeping, preparation of tax returns, and write-up work can be handled efficiently by a general accountant.

Do you have an Accountant or a CPA?

Candy has a bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of Oklahoma, and with the exception of a few specialized audits, is qualified to do everything a CPA is able to do.

What are some of the benefits of having monthly bookkeeping?

There are many advantages to having us prepare your monthly financials, but the following are some of the most important:
  • Banks often need a recent financial statement if you are applying for a loan.
  • Looking at your business on a month-to-month basis allows us to better counsel you to limit your year-end tax liability.
  • On average, a good accountant/bookkeeper will save small businesses 30 cents on the dollar because of missed tax deductions, depreciations and other tax limiting situations.

How does outsourced payroll work?

In its simplest form, the client will provide us with the hours/salary to process a check for an employee and we do the rest. With all of the withholdings and reports required, this service can really save small businesses time and money.

Why have an accountant prepare your tax return instead of doing it yourself?

Tax laws seem to change on a daily basis. If you do not stay on top of these changes, you can miss opportunities to save money. Not using a professional to complete your tax return is like gambling at a casino – you might win, but the percentages are against you.

Why should I buy life insurance?

Life insurance’s primary purpose is to supplement a loss in income. It can also supplement a loss in family structure. For example, if a stay-at-home mom were to suddenly pass away, the family would have to find and pay for someone to watch the kids. Life insurance can be used to meet this need.

How much life insurance should I have?

The general rule of thumb is to have 10 times your annual salary. If you don’t have this much, contact us immediately to find out why you should.
